Canvas Painting
Your young artist will discover their love for painting on canvas by learning about brush techniques, color mixing, fluid art on canvas, and all about how to plan and finish a painting from start to end.
Character Creation
A mixed media project learning how to create character faces from found objects and imagery. All found object supplies provided and they can even bring in some of their own!
Tie Dye
Learning a bit of history about fabric dying, about tie dye, the many ways your can tie dye on your own, and make their very own tie dye canvas tote bag to take home.
Painting with Yarn
Who said paint only goes on canvas. We will learn a fun new way to make a landscape scene using colored yarn on canvas to make scenes come to life.
Mosaic Art
We will share how to lay out each piece to create an image and how to secure them with grout.
Chalk Art
Weather permitting, explore chalk creations outdoors and learn how play and art go hand in hand.
